About Us

Hi, I’m Carla McCarthy.  I love vintage style and decor.  I fell in love with it as a little girl when growing up in my great grandmother’s home in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  While, the home had passed down through generations the original décor remained and touched my soul with its connection back to the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. 

 I chose a career in fashion and attended fashion school at University Candido Mendes in Rio.  After graduating and before moving to Miami in 2005, I founded and ran a successful fashion label in Brazil.  When in Miami, I was in high demand with Miami’s wealthiest residents as a stylist, personal shopper and image consultant, including working with Adriana de Moura, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Miami reality tv show.  Also, for many years I wrote fashion articles for the Gazeta, a Brazilian newspaper.

 My fashion strength is combining low priced quality vintage and modern clothing to create highly fashionable and timeless looks.
